ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Bruce Schneier is an internationally renowned security technologist, cryptographer and author, called a “security guru” by The Economist. He is the author of more than a dozen books, including his latest book Rewiring Democracy, as well as hundreds of articles, essays and academic papers. His newsletter Crypto-Gram and blog Schneier on Security are read by more than 250,000 people.
Schneier works at the intersection of security, technology and society. He is a fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, a Lecturer in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, Chief of Security Architecture at Inrupt, Inc., and a board member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Access Now.
