PhD student Karel Čemus receives an UPE award

PhD student Karel Čemus was among less than thirty students in the world to receive an award from Upsilon Pi Epsilon organisation! Congratulations to Karel - the award is an extraordinary recognition of his excellent work!

The mission of UPE is to recognize academic excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Computing and Information Disciplines. UPE is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS). Each year it awards scholarship to outstanding students from around the world to support them in their study efforts.

The Czech branch of UPE was established at Czech Technical University in January 2013.
