The Department of Physics presented itself on Gymnázium Rakovník’s natural sciences conference

Third year of natural sciences conference happening at the end of June was held by Gymnazium Rakovnik. The main theme of the event was introducing natural sciences distinctly to young people which happened with the ample support of scientific workers from the Department of Physics CTU in Prague. Students could attend Vítězslav Kříha’s lecture on Plasma medicine or listen to prof. Petr Kulhánek who has chosen a topic ‘Higgs – tax collector’s story’. Regarding experimental parts, Marin Žáček showed ‘Plays with liquid nitrogen’, Miroslav Horký and Vojtěch Delong presented mathematical model ‘Solar sailing boat’.
