The IMEKO Award for the Best Papers of Ph.D. Students goes to Ján Tomlain

Ján Tomlain, a postgraduate student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department of Measurement has been awarded a Third Place prize in the “Best Ph.D. Paper” category at the IMEKO world congress which was held in Prague from August 30 to September 4. The awarded paper focuses on Partial Discharge Diagnostic System for Non-destructive Testing of High-voltage Machines.

The International Measurement Confederation (IMEKO) is the non- governmental federation of metrological organizations which gathers world- leading researchers and practitioners from different fields of metrology.
