Professor Jonathan Ledgard will give a lecture at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering

On May 20, 2019 at 19.00, Professor Jonathan Ledgard will give a lecture on "AI & NATURE" at the Artificial Intelligence Center of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague (Karlovo náměstí 13, Prague 2). It will take place within the AI SPRING cycle and as an official accompanying event of the Innovation week (Týden inovací).

Is Artificial Intelligence (AI) a new form of evolution? What will be its relationship to non-human life forms? Will it help protect the living planet? And what could be the role of AI in ecology? Professor Jonathan Ledgard will answer these questions in his lecture, which will symbolically conclude his previous work at CTU in Prague. The topic will be presented in an exclusive world premiere and will later be published in prestigious academic media and online.

Visiting professor of AI Jonathan Ledgard is a leading futurist and co-author of concepts such as the award-winning Droneport Project, which he developed together with Sir Norman Foster. He lectures at international conferences and universities around the world and has worked as a foreign correspondent for The Economist for 20 years.

AI & NATURE is part of AI SPRING, a series of discussion evenings, and an accompanying event of the Innovation Week. Together with interesting guests, we will look five years into the future in which artificial intelligence will fundamentally influence our understanding of truth, the world of economics and natural forms.
