Anotation:

Student will be informed about the basics of radiant and other industrial heating systems

Study targets:

Student should be fully informed about the basics of radiant and other industrial heating systems

Content:

Heat conduction in a rod and in a plate with cylindrical heat sources · Underfloor heating – thermal-technical characteristics, thermal comfort · Underfloor heating – design and execution of the floor heating surface · Thermo-technical calculation of warm water underfloor heating · Hydraulic calculation of underfloor heating · Heat output control of the floor heating surface, technical drawing documentation · Electrical underfloor heating – types of electric underfloor heating · Design of electric underfloor heating · Wall heating – design and execution · Ceiling heating, ceiling large-surface cooling · Heating with overhead radiant panels, characteristics, radiant efficiency · Heating with light and dark gas radiant heaters, ventilation air issue · Combination of radiant heaters and heat recovery, design of heat recovery systems

Heat conduction in rod. Heat conduction in plate with cylindrical heat sources. Thermal radiation. Large-space radiant heating. Heating with embedded pipes - Floor, Electric floor, Wall and Ceiling heating. Heating with suspended radiant strips. Heating with plague and tube gas radiant heaters. Combination of radiant heaters and heat recovery.
