The subject makes familiar with selected parts of the digital signal processing in communication. The digital image processing is emphasized.

Study targets:

Students learn advanced methods in the digital filter design and implementation of selected algorithms using digital signal processors.

7. Code optimization, Intrinsics, CPU and EDMA, interrupts, cache
8. Transformations DCT, KLT, DWT
9. Advanced design of FIR filters
10. Design of 2-D and m-D FIR filters
11. Image filtering, filtering of sequences, adaptive filtering
12. Image compression
13. Video compression
14. Advanced implementation of DSP algorithms
