Programme of On-site Open Days and Registration

Registration for the on-site Open Days is free of charge.

You will be able to choose from several time slots taking place in the morning and in the afternoon. During these sessions, you will tour the Faculty’s laboratories in smaller groups and receive the most up-to-date information about study programmes and the admission process. The sessions will take place in Dejvice and at Karlovo náměstí, at two different times. You will select your preferred time slot during registration.

What to Expect at the Dejvice Campus

You will start with a short introductory presentation. Afterwards, you will visit seven interesting laboratories and workplaces in smaller groups. Our academic staff and students will show you, for example, how engineering and computer science can be used in medical treatment, or how the student autonomous electric formula of the eForce team is being developed. You will also get a glimpse of projects carried out by FEL teams in the fields of telecommunications, cybersecurity, and robotics. You will visit an AV studio, essential for research and development in multimedia technologies and virtual reality, as well as other interesting facilities.

The Dejvice route primarily presents the study programmes Electronics and Communications, Open Electronic Systems, Medical Electronics and Bioinformatics, and Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering and Management.

What to Expect at Karlovo náměstí

You will start with a short introductory presentation. You will then be introduced to robots in many different forms—from multi-robot systems, unmanned aerial vehicles and drones, through walking robots, to humanoid and collaborative robots. You will visit laboratories where our research teams develop software for autonomous systems and tools for automatic control. You will also see workplaces focused on the development of interactive graphics and games.

Experts based at Karlovo náměstí also specialize in the analysis and interpretation of biomedical data and in cybersecurity. The Karlovo náměstí route primarily presents the study programmes Software Engineering and Technologies, Open Informatics, and Cybernetics and Robotics.

After the Open Day, you can expect follow-up materials in your email inbox, including important links, a recording of the introductory presentation, and video tours of laboratories and student projects.

Registration for the on-site Open Days will open in the second half of January 2026.
