Tomáš Škarda from ČEZ: Configuration Management in Nuclear Power Plants

The Department of Economics, Management and Humanities of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at CTU in Prague invites you to a lecture on configuration management in nuclear power plants. The lecture will take place on Thursday, April 16 at 11:00 in room T2:C3-52.

The lecture will be delivered by Tomáš Škarda from ČEZ, who works as a configuration management specialist at the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant and is also a graduate of the Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering and Management (EEM) program at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU.

The lecture will cover the following topics:

Configuration management – general introduction
History and development of configuration management
International standards and legislation
Principles of configuration management in nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic
Benefits of implementing configuration management processes
A simple practical example
Examples of unauthorized changes in nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic
The lecture is open to all CTU students who are interested in energy, process management, and quality management.
