A series of roughly one-hour musical evenings with top performers is regularly held in the Zenger Auditorium on the CTU campus at Charles Square. The concert is intended for students, employees of the CTU and graduates of the CTU Faculty of Music. Everyone can bring one guest. As long as we do not face an overflow of listeners, admission to the Meeting is free and without prior registration. Dress may be casual.
František Vejražka and Václav Hlaváč, two professors of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, initiated the Meeting with Music. The aim is to provide students and staff with a straightforward, inexpensive and informal opportunity to meet regularly with quality music. Verbal interaction between the performers, the presenter and the audience is also expected during the evening. The programme is generally chosen to be of interest to new music listeners.
