Study Artificial Intelligence to the Fullest: prg.ai Master Opens Second Round of Applications

For applicants

Applicants have until August 11, 2025 to submit their applications for the prg.ai Master programme, a master’s degree taught entirely in English that offers students a comprehensive, top-tier education in the field of artificial intelligence. The programme is delivered not only by experts from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU (FEE CTU), but also by specialists from the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics, CTU (CIIRC CTU) and the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University (FSV UK). Due to the short time between the admission decision and the start of the program, this round is open only to EU citizens and applicants who already hold a residence permit in the Czech Republic.

The prg.ai Master programme responds to the growing demand in the labor market for AI professionals. Until now, AI could only be studied at FEE CTU as a specialization within the Open Informatics programme. The prg.ai association played a major role in the creation of this new programme, building on the successful prg․ai Minor study programme. This newly established master’s programme offers students a truly interdisciplinary perspective on artificial intelligence – covering topics such as machine learning, computer vision, data engineering, natural language processing, and ethics. Understanding the ethical implications of AI and its societal impact is a key part of the programme’s curriculum.

As the entire program is taught in English, students gain a competitive edge for future career opportunities, including roles at international companies or abroad. The study plan was designed in consultation with both Czech and international industry leaders to ensure it meets current market needs and can adapt to future technological developments. Students are also encouraged to participate in research projects during their studies to gain practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge.

The programme is designed for self-payers and, even with a tuition fee of €2,600 p

The programme is fee-based, with tuition set at EUR 2,600 per semester, and it represents an excellent investment in the future. AI experts are among the most in-demand and best-paid professionals in today’s job market. Through an intensive three-semester course of study, students will receive a comprehensive education that will make them stand out even on a global scale. The programme is also supported by the prg.ai initiative, which aims to establish the Czech Republic as a regional leader in AI.
