The concert will take place on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 6:30 PM in the Zenger Lecture Hall at Karlovo náměstí. The event will be hosted by Assoc. Prof. Martin Kasík. Performers in the program include Karolína Falkenauer Františová, Alena Grešlová, Michal Grešl, Ahmad Hedar, and Marie Šumníková.
The evening will offer a cross-section of piano literature from early Romanticism to the 20th century. In both solo and ensemble pieces, works by Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin, Josef Suk, Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann, Bedřich Smetana, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Alexandre Jean Albert Lavignac will be performed. The program will culminate in a spectacular Galop for piano for eight hands.
The Meeting with Music at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of CTU traditionally connects the academic environment with live musical culture and offers a space for reflection, focused listening, and social gathering. The event is intended for CTU students, employees, and alumni of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Each attendee may bring one guest. Admission is free and no prior registration is required. Attire may be informal.
