During the ČEPS Summer School, which will take place from 31 August to 4 September, participants can look forward to expert seminars, workshops, lectures, and interactive discussions with leading specialists from ČEPS. Students will become familiar not only with the operation of the Czech power system, but also with current trends in the European energy sector, the energy market, and modern technologies that will shape the future of the entire industry.
One of the programme’s greatest attractions is a visit to the dispatch control centre, where participants will have the opportunity to try the role of a power system dispatcher using a specialised simulator. The programme also includes excursions to some of the most advanced electrical engineering facilities and operations, places that students would not normally have the chance to visit.
However, the Summer School is not solely focused on professional knowledge. The organisers also place strong emphasis on teamwork, networking, and the informal side of the programme. Students have the opportunity to establish contacts with industry experts as well as with fellow participants who share an interest in energy and modern technologies. The programme also includes team competitions and leisure activities focused on logical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
For many students, the ČEPS Summer School represents the first step towards a professional career in the energy sector. Graduates of the programme often continue their cooperation with the company through internships, diploma theses, or future employment opportunities.
Applications can be submitted until 30 June by sending a CV and motivation letter via the form available on the ČEPS website.
