The programme will open with the rock band Brain Issues, whose roots lead directly to FEE CTU – all of its members graduated from the Medical Electronics and Bioinformatics programme. The band is led by guitarist Ing. Michal Zelený, a PhD student at the Department of Physics at FEE.
"FEE is home to us, and we’re very happy to be back on the faculty stage this year. We’ve put together a set featuring both our own songs and tried-and-tested covers that are guaranteed to get the whole courtyard moving. Come and kick off the semester with us," invites Michal Zelený.
The band Oldneas will then take the stage with a repertoire of original songs and covers spanning rock, rock ’n’ roll and blues. The band features Prof. Jiří Žára, Head of the Department of Computer Graphics and Interaction.
The concert will conclude with the pop-rock band Elephant Easy, featuring doc. Ondřej Lipčák from the Department of Electric Drives and Traction. You can listen to their songs on Spotify and Apple Music.
"We played at the faculty for the first time last year, and we’re very happy to be coming back. Whether you’ve been at FEE for a few days or several years, come and enjoy the evening with us!" says Ondřej Lipčák.
During the programme, visitors will also have the opportunity to see the autonomous electric formula car of the student team EFORCE Prague Formula, which is currently recruiting new members. The team will also bring along its racing simulator, giving visitors a taste of the atmosphere of motorsport and allowing them to choose from several types of cars.
The event will also feature presentations by the student club +/-FEL, the wITches association, which popularizes computer science and technology, and the teams EFORCE Prague Formula, CTU Robotics, CTU Space Research and CTU Aerolab, as well as Radio Club OK1KUR, students from the Academic Senate of FEE CTU, and a representative of the CTU Academic Chaplaincy.
Visitors will also hear a presentation about the educational platform EuroTeQ, which enables students to gain international experience from the comfort of their own homes.
Of course, refreshments will also be available at the event. Please note that payment will be cash only.
We warmly invite students from all years, as well as the entire academic community! This is a concert not just for freshmen!
