Matěj Kafka is a graduate of the Open Informatics (OI) program at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he currently works as an external lecturer at the Department of Control Engineering and the Department of Cybernetics.

On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, he will share his teaching experiences during his lecture as part of the Teachers' Club series. Ing. Kafka taught at FEE during his master's studies in OI, and in 2023 he even received the Dean's Award for outstanding teaching performance. This award is given by the Dean of FEL based on the recommendation of a committee established by him. The committee nominates teachers based on the results of a student survey with an emphasis on verbal evaluations by students, from proposals made by department heads.
