Achievements and milestones
Something new is always happening at FEE. Every week we publish several breakthroughs in our research, record the achievements of our research teams and students, and report on important events. Most of our news is regularly picked up by leading Czech media.
Research
FEE has long ranked among the top five research institutions in the Czech Republic. It produces approximately 30% of CTU’s overall research results and has established extensive scientific cooperation with the world's top universities and research institutes.
Cooperation with practice
FEE has long standing collaborations on a number of research and innovation projects commissioned by industrial partners and institutions from all over the world. Project and research activities are closely linked to the study programmes and research teams of individual departments. Thus, students have the chance to get involved in practical projects in their first semesters, which can lead to a job offer after graduation or to long-term innovative research activities.
Study programmes
There are only eight students per lecturer at FEE, which enables us to provide high-quality, individualized teaching. Interested students can choose from 8 Bachelor's and 7 Master's degree programmes. In response to the speed of technological development and innovation, all our study programmes are regularly updated to meet the latest requirements of the labour market and advances in science and research.
Diversity of tech teams
Team diversity is not just a question of ethics, but also the innovation and economic potential of the institution, the students and their future employers. Moreover, diverse teams mean diverse ideas. FEE addresses topics such as electromobility, artificial intelligence, Smart Cities, Smart Homes, eHealth, IoT, internet safety, 5G networks and the integration of robots into work processes and services. All of these areas bring with them great change for the lives of all people around the world. Therefore, the faculty aims to create a conducive environment for experts and professionals with different backgrounds to help develop technologies to serve different target groups.
