The dean awarded the teachers for their outstanding pedagogical achievements based on the recommendations of a committee established by him. The committee was based on the results of a survey with an emphasis on verbal evaluations of students, suggestions from department heads, and also took into account factors such as the quality of course materials and the difficulty of the teacher. In the evaluation, the committee selected among teachers who had not been awarded in the same category in the last three years.
