The program will kick off with the band Oldneas, featuring Professor Jiří Žára, head of the Department of Computer Graphics and Interaction. Oldneas’ playlist includes both original songs and covers in the genres of rock, rock’ n’ roll, and blues.
Next up will be the electro-rock band Elephant Easy, led by Dr. Ondřej Lipčák from the Department of Electric Drives and Traction. You can listen to some of their tracks online.
The evening will conclude with Brain Issues (in the opening photo), who are preparing an energetic mix of rock and pop. One of their members is Ing. Michal Zelený, a PhD student at FEE’s Department of Physics.
As part of the program, visitors will also see the autonomous electric formula car CTU.25, built by the student team eForce Prague Formula. With this latest vehicle, the team recently achieved a notable success at the prestigious Formula Student Germany competition, securing third place in the autonomous category. They will also bring along their racing simulator, which will let visitors experience a taste of the racing atmosphere and try out several types of cars.
During the event, the stage will also feature the student club +/-FEL, the association wITches promoting computer science and technology, the teams eForce Prague Formula and CTU Robotics, the Radioclub OK1KUR, as well as students representing the Academic Senate of FEE CTU and a representative of the Academic Spiritual Administration.
We warmly invite not only freshmen but also students from other years and the entire academic community! After all, this is a concert not only for freshmen!
