Dissertation topics

Application of Boundary Element Method into open-space tasks.

  • Branch of study: Electrical Engineering and Communications
  • Department: Department of Telecommunications Engineering
    • Description:
The central part of the task is based on the analysis of the system of matrices of Boundary Element Method, and analysis of possibilities of solving the system. Simple software is expected to be built with the above features (user environment is not critical). It is also necessary to take into account open-space tasks (in connection with the issue of telecommunication wireless technologies). The designed software system has to be verified in independent software (e.g. based on FEM). https://comtel.fel.cvut.cz/cs/users/magadusa

Fusion Technology in the field of Energy Harvesting

  • Branch of study: Electrical Engineering and Communications
  • Department: Department of Telecommunications Engineering
    • Description:
Analysis of the "fusion" technology designed for Energy Harvesting (EH). Mathematical description of cooperation among EH systems. Elaboration of a theory of cooperation of EH systems. Realization of computer simulations based on the mathematical model. Definition of key parameters and design of measurement system for these parameters. Defining the hardware and other system requirements. Measurement of key parameters. Comparison to the mathematical model, possible model and system theory modifications.

Numerical analysis of electromagnetic field shieldings.

  • Branch of study: Electrical Engineering and Communications
  • Department: Department of Telecommunications Engineering
    • Description:
The task is to create and implement the methodology of electromagnetic fields modeling in Finite Element Methods (FEM) systems, with emphasis on high-frequency fields (e.g. typical for GSM networks). Another point is the analysis of the obstacles to the spreading of these fields and their implementation in the FEM system. An essential part of the proposal is to optimize the obstacles (to block the field propagation) and to analyze solutions in the FEM system. https://comtel.fel.cvut.cz/cs/users/magadusa
