Advanced radar target simulators

  • Branch of study: Electrical Engineering and Communications
  • Department: Department of Electromagnetic Field
    • Description:
The target simulator is a stationary device placed close to the tested radar and in its view, while its main task is to “persuade” the radar of “seeing” a target or even more targets in defined ranges and moving with defined velocities. The research involves theoretical solutions, practical implementation and testing of radar target simulators capable of emulating even more complex target configurations required in the automotive or security fields.

Microwave radar sensors

  • Branch of study: Electrical Engineering and Communications
  • Department: Department of Electromagnetic Field
    • Description:
As microwave radar sensors, radar devices showing small dimensions and relatively short detection range are named usually. These sensors are capable to detect a variety of objects, and measure a variety of different phenomena and quantities, e.g. in the automotive, security, or medical fields. The research involves theoretical solutions, practical implementation and testing of sensors developed mainly for defense purposes.
