Advanced models of electroacoustic microsystems

  • Branch of study: Acoustics
  • Department: Department of Radioelectronics
    • Description:
Miniaturized electroacoustic systems, especially MEMS microphones, are gaining popularity due to their small size, relatively high sensitivity, wide frequency range, low inherent noise, and favorable price. Advanced theoretical models that take into account the specifics of micromechanical implementation are needed for the development of new structures for these devices. The work will focus on analytical and numerical models, exploring not only linear models but also sources of nonlinearity in these electroacoustic transducers.
