43rd Encounters with Music: Franz Schubert's Fantasies and Small Musical Pieces of the Greats

For students For employees

We kindly invite you to the 43rd Encounters with Music, which will be held on March 20th 2023. The programme includes Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy, Camille Saint-Saëns and other great composers. The event takes place in the Zenger Auditorium on the FEE CTU campus on Charles Square. The musical cycle regularly hosts top musicians - this time, violinist Roman Patočka and pianist Stanislav Gallin.

The concert is dedicated to students, employees of the CTU and graduates of the CTU Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Each of them can bring one guest. As long as we do not face an overflow of listeners, admission to the Meeting is free and without prior registration. Dress may be casual.

Musical cycle Encounters with Music was founded by František Vejražka and Václav Hlaváč, two professors of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The aim is to provide students and staff with a straightforward, inexpensive and informal opportunity to meet with music on a regular basis. During the evening, verbal interaction between the performers, the presenter and the audience is expected. The programme is chosen to be of interest also to new music listeners.
