About group
The Computational Electromagnetics Group is a part of the Department of Electromagnetic Field and works closely with colleagues in Europe and the USA. Its main activity is the modeling and quantification of various electromagnetic phenomena with a focus on their application in engineering practice. Inherent in this activity is the use of existing software tools and the development of new oness.
Among other things, the CEM Group maintains and further develops the AToM tool (Antenna Toolbox for MATLAB), which is used all over the worlld. The significant strengths of AToM include advanced calculations using characteristic modes and the evaluation of the fundamental bounds of antennas, topics in which the CEM Group is a world leader.
The CEM Group offers collaboration to all students interested in mathematics, physics, and programming, from undergraduate to doctoral studies. Postdoctoral positions are also provided.
The CEM group has extensive experience in basic and applied research projects and economic activities with industrial partners.
You can visit the departmental website for more detailed information and contact details of the group members.
