Acquire knowledge in the field of electronic communications networks, optical components, and technologies related to communications, navigation, audiovisual, and sensor technology.
Communication and the internet of things (KIT)
The master's degree programme in Communication and the internet of things provides students with in-depth knowledge focused on the methodology of designing, implementing, and verifying optical, microwave, acoustic, and imaging components, as well as complex sensor and communication systems. The composition of compulsory elective courses allows students to tailor their study plan to their individual needs and follow their own path. There are only three compulsory courses: Diploma Project, Research Work, and Diploma Thesis.
Specializations:
- Intelligent Communication Networks
- Internet of Things
- Wireless Technology and Photonics
- Audiovisual Technology
- Communication and Information Processing
What projects do we deal with?
At KIT, you will quickly move from the necessary theory to practical tasks. You can get involved in projects dealing with systems for space probes, sensors for autonomous vehicles, 5G and 6G networks, the Internet of Things, data transmission using LiFi, or protocols for autonomous drone communication.
